Sebastian has a conviction that Venture Capital is an efficient tool for allocating capital towards technologies and companies that have the potential to re-shape the world. He strongly believes that e.g. Artificial Intelligence, FinTech, SaaS solutions, and especially the accelerating convergence of BioTech and “classical” ICT companies have the power to solve mankind’s most pressing problems.
Sebastian studied for his Bachelors and Masters at the University of St.Gallen and did research on human-centered Artificial Intelligence at Stanford University. He has gained practical experience in management consulting at Horváth & Partners, on the investment team of Project A Ventures, and at the startup incubator Rocket Internet in Berlin.
