“Changing the status quo!”
Artificial intelligence, Internet of Things, digital marketplaces – forward-looking technologies fascinate Sebastian so much that he hardly ever finds time to pick up his guitar. “In my spare time, I mainly read – for example, every technology newsletter I can get my hands on.” But he also learns a lot directly from people. “The founders I deal with at Redalpine are extremely intelligent and motivated – and they want to change the status quo. I can learn enormously from them.”
Conversely, the young entrepreneurs also benefit from Sebastian’s business expertise. He studied business administration in St. Gallen and has constantly been gaining practical experience – in management consulting at Horváth & Partners, on the investment team of Project A Ventures, and at the startup incubator Rocket Internet in Berlin. So Sebastian knows his way around startups, “and I think I can see the weak points of a concept pretty quickly.” Having a good idea for a new product is the first prerequisite for a successful startup, but then the company has to do its homework. Sebastian is the ideal sparring partner for this.
